Dr. Wendi Goodson-Celerin, DNP, APRN, NE-BC is employed at Tampa General Hospital with over 30 years of nursing and leadership experience. She is the Vice President of Acute Care, Neuroscience, Orthopedics, and Clinical Education, her responsibilities include the administrative oversight, leading, directing, strategic planning, and programming within the clinical areas. Wendi is an alumnus of the University of South Florida where she received her degrees. Under her leadership and responsibilities are GI, GU, Thyroid, ENT, Bariatrics and Specialty Surgery, Neuroscience Service Line, the Comprehensive Accredited Stroke Program, and the Orthopedics Service Line. In addition, she leads the Clinical Education department which comprises: new clinical team members on-boarding, clinical team members’ education, skills and training programs, and student on-boarding and clinicals. She serves as the executive leader in partnerships with various nursing schools/universities’ clinical programs of study and school affiliations. She is a member of various professional organizations and proudly serves her community.
