Deb has lived and worked in the Hillsborough County Community for many years. She has been in the banking industry in the Tampa Bay area for over 35 years. She is currently a Vice President and Branch Manager with SouthState Bank in Brandon. Deb came to Florida as a young child with her family from Nashville, Tennessee and has made the Tampa Bay area home for most of her life. She is married to George Leiman and they have one Daughter, Amanda who lives in the SouthShore Community with her husband, Nathan and their precious daughters, Aubree & Kinslee. She also has Granddaughters, Skyler & Kylee who are very special to her and her family. She has been very active in the Hillsborough County Business Community for many years. Deb has been a Board Member of Project Return, Inc. since 1986. Project Return is a Tampa based non-profit agency that helps adults with mental illness live a better quality of life through Educational and Art Programs, Counseling, Social interaction and many other services. She and her husband attend and serve at Wellspring Community Church. In addition, Deb also has a focus on connecting individuals, businesses and community groups while encouraging “shopping local” to promote and increase the success and longevity of local businesses. In her spare time, Deb enjoys boating and spending time with her family and friends, vacationing primarily at the beautiful beaches in Florida, volunteering at Wellspring Community Church, College and Pro Football, and volunteering and supporting many local organizations and charities.
